At least 16 people were injured on Sunday morning in a gas cylinder blast at Mumbai’s Lalbaug area.
Two fire tenders and two tankers were rushed to the spot and the blaze brought under control, sources said.
The injured were taken to the King Edward Memorial (KEM) hospital for further treatment.
The incident took place at around 7.20 am on the second floor of Sarabhai building in Ganesh Galli locality.
Mumbai Mayor Kishori Pednekar visited KEM Hospital to meet the injured people.
