Former Indian captain MS Dhoni on Saturday announced his retirement from Internation cricket. Dhoni informed about his retirement through the Instagram post from his official account. Dhoni in his post said, “Thanks a lot for ur love and support throughout. from 1929 hrs consider me as Retired.” In the post, Dhoni shared a slideshow depicting various moments from his international cricket career, with “Pal do pal ka shayar’ song playing in the background.
Minutes after the announcement of Dhoni’s retirement, Suresh Raina also announced his retirement from international cricket.
Raina also took to his Instagram account to announce his retirement. Aiming his message at Dhoni, Raina Said, “It was nothing but lovely playing with you, @mahi7781 . With my heart full of pride, I choose to join you in this journey. Thank you India. Jai Hind!”
Both Dhoni and Raina arrived in Chennai on Friday for a training camp of Chennai Super Kings ahead of IPL in UAE.
