Maharashtra’s cabinet expansion is expected to take place on Monday, more than a month after the Uddhav Thackeray-led government was sworn in.
Over 30 MLAs of the Shiv Sena, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) and the Congress are expected to take oath.
Uddhav Thackeray was sworn in as Maharashtra Chief Minister on November 28 with six ministers.
Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Ajit Pawar may make a return today as the deputy chief minister of Maharashtra, sources said.
Moreover, Shiv Sena MLA and Uddhav Thackeray’s son Aaditya Thackeray is likely to be sworn in as a minister, sources added.
