Makkal Needhi Maiam (MNM) chief Kamal Haasan and his daughter Shruti Haasan were among early voters in Tamil Nadu on Thursday morning.
Both were seen along hundreds of voters who had to wait at a polling station in Tamil Nadu’s Chennai before they could cast their votes after a technical glitch in the EVMs delayed polling.
“Today is the day!! Vote because it matters!” tweeted actor Shruti Haasan.
“Vote for the change you want to see! #everyvotecounts,” Shruti added.
Tamil Nadu chief minister K Palaniswami, Congress leader P Chidambaram, actor-politician Rajinikanth, DMK President MK Stalin were among others who cast their votes.
