Two new cases of coronavirus have been reported from Karnataka on Tuesday, taking the total number of positive cases to 10 in the state.
Karnataka health minister B Sriramulu in a tweet confirmed the same.
“We have got 2 more #COVID2019 cases in Karnataka taking the total number of confirmed cases to 10. 20 yr old female who travelled from UK is tested positive & another contact of P6 (kalburgi deceased patient) is tested positive. Both are admitted in designated isolation hospital,” Sriramulu tweeted.
Many states have gone in a state of lockdown, closing down cinema halls, gyms, malls night clubs and swimming pools.
21-year-old Spanish football coach Francisco Garcia has died after contracting coronavirus. Garcia had worked as the manager of Atletico Portada Alta’s youth team. He has become the youngest victim of the illness in the region, sources said.
The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases rose to 125 in India while the number of deaths around the world linked to the new coronavirus passed 7000.
