The Jammu and Kashmir Police’s special cell, the State Investigation Agency (SIA), has filed a chargesheet against 10 accused allegedly linked to a “doctors’ terror module” operating in Srinagar.

Police said the accused included five doctors, among them Umar Un Nabi of Koil in Pulwama, who was killed in the Red Fort suicide attack on November 10 last year. Another accused named in the case is Shaheen Saeed, a doctor from Lalbagh in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.

The group had identified Triacetone Triperoxide (TATP), a highly sensitive explosive that has been used in several terror incidents globally.

The case stems from a series of arrests made last year by Nowgam police station after provocative and threatening posters, issued in the name of Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM), were pasted in the Nowgam area on October 19, 2025.

The subsequent investigation found that the poster campaign was linked to a wider conspiracy.

According to police, the accused used the name of JeM to create fear and exploit its notoriety while secretly working to revive AGuH and mislead security agencies.
