A terrorist on Sunday was gunned down by police in Handwara, Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir.
According to police, terrorists attacked the check post at Handwara bypass, but the attack was successfully repulsed in which a militant was killed.
Police have also recovered arms and ammunition from his possession.
The area has been cordoned off and a search operation is underway.
