An Indian Air Force (IAF) chopper crashed on Wednesday morning in Jammu and Kashmir’s Budgam district.
According to the reports, the crash occurred due to a technical fault.
The Mi-17 crashed in an open field near Garend Kalaan village in Budgam at around 10.05 am. It broke into two and caught fire immediately, the officials said, adding that two bodies were seen near the site of crash.
The identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained.
The crash happened a day after India bombed and destroyed JeM’s training camp in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province killing a “very large number” of terrorists, trainers and senior commanders.
