Four terrorists were killed on Sunday morning in an encounter with the security forces in Jammu and Kashmir’s Shopian.
The encounter was reported from Kapran Batagund area of Shopian district. Two more terrorist are believed to be holed up in the area.
Jammu and Kashmir police had earlier tweeted, “exchange of fire between security forces & #terrorists at Kapran #Shopian. SF on Job. Information is preliminary in nature. Details will follow.”
However, the operation is still underway.
Mobile internet services have been suspended in the south Kashmir district as a precautionary measure.
