A Jammu and Kashmir Police constable, Muhammad Saleem Shah, was found dead with multiple bullet injuries on Saturday afternoon in Qaimoh village of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
Saleem was abducted by terrorists from his house in Mutalhama area of Kulgam on Friday night. The constable was undergoing training in Kathua in Jammu and was on leave.
This is the third such incident in past month where a security official has been kidnapped and later killed by terrorists.
No terrorist organisation has so far claimed the responsibility of the killing.
