India has reported 92,071 new cases of coronavirus and 1,136 deaths in the last 24 hours. The COVID-19 tally in the country now stands at 48,46,427, while the death toll rose to 79,722, according to Health Ministry data.
Of the total cases, 37,80,107 have been cured/discharged/migrated. There are 9,86,598 active cases of COVID-19 in India.
The recovery rate among coronavirus patients stands at 78%.
Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said over 5.72 crore samples have been tested up to September 13 of which 9,78,500 samples were tested yesterday.
