India’s COVID-19 tally rise to 41.13 lakh, records single-day spike of 90,632 cases

India has reported a record single-day spike of 90,632 new cases of coronavirus and 1,065 deaths in the last 24 hours. The COVID-19 tally in the country now stands at 41,13,811, while the death toll rose to 70,626, according to Health Ministry data.

Of the total cases, 31,80,865 have been cured/discharged/migrated. There are 8,62,320 active cases of COVID-19 in India.

The recovery rate among coronavirus patients stands at 77.3%.

Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said over 4.88 crore samples have been tested up to September 5 of which 10,92,654 samples were tested yesterday.
