India has reported 67,151 fresh cases of coronavirus and 1,059 deaths in the last 24 hours. The COVID-19 tally in the country now stands at 32,34,475, while the death toll rose to 59,449, according to Health Ministry data.
Of the total cases, 24,67,759 have been cured/discharged/migrated. There are 7,07,267 active cases of COVID-19 in India.
The recovery rate among the coronavirus patients stands at 75.92%.
Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) on Wednesday said a total of 3,76,51,512 samples have been tested up to August 25 of which 8,23,992 samples were tested yesterday.
