India’s coronavirus cases have reached 19,08,255 on Wednesday after the country reported 52,509 new cases in the last 24 hours, according to Health Ministry data.
Of the total cases, 12,82,216 have been cured/discharged. There are 5,86,244 active cases.
The recovery rate among the coronavirus patients stands at 67.19%.
A total of 39,795 coronavirus patients have lost their lives.
Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) on Wednesday said a total of 2,14,84,402 samples have been tested up to August 4 of which 6,19,652 samples were tested yesterday.
