India’s coronavirus cases have reached 20,27,075 on Friday after the country reported 62,538 new cases in the last 24 hours, according to Health Ministry data.
Of the total cases, 13,78,106 have been cured/discharged. There are 6,07,384 active cases.
The recovery rate among the coronavirus patients stands at 67.98%.
A total of 41,585 coronavirus patients have lost their lives.
Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) on Friday said a total of 2,27,88,393 samples have been tested up to August 6 of which 6,39,042 samples were tested yesterday.
