India beat Australia on Tuesday by six wickets in the second one-day International (ODI) in Adelaide to level the three-match series 1-1.
BCCI tweeted, “A last over thriller in Adelaide. #TeamIndia clinch the 2nd ODI by 6 wickets courtesy winning touches from @imVkohli @msdhoni & @DineshKarthik. 1-1.”
Dhoni (55 not out) including a much-needed six in the final over, along with Dinesh Karthik (25 not out) took India across the line with four balls to spare.
Virat Kohli’s 104 guides the chase to win by six wickets with four balls remaining. His 39th ODI century earns him the Player of the Match award in Adelaide.
“Kohli and Dhoni starred as India chased down Australia to level the ODI series in Adelaide. The decider will take place in Melbourne on Friday,” ICC tweeted.
