The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Sunday announced that Virat Kohli will lead the Indian team in all the three formats (Test, ODI and T20I) in West Indies for the upcoming series, starting on August 3.
All-rounder Hardik Pandya has been rested for the entire tournament, Jasprit Bumrah has been included in Test squad. Meanwhile, Shikhar Dhawan, who has recovered completely after sustaining an injury on his thumb, returns to ODI and T20I teams.
Shreyas Iyer, Manish Pandey, Washington Sundar, and Navdeep Saini have been included in the squad for the limited-overs.
Mahendra Singh Dhoni will be unavailable for the West Indies tour as he would be serving his paramilitary regiment.
