With 26,624 fresh cases of the coronavirus and 341 deaths in the past 24 hours, India’s COVID-19 tally stands at 1,00,31,223 while the death toll rose to 1,45,477, according to Health Ministry data.
Of the total cases, 95,80,402 have been cured/discharged. There are 3,05,344 active cases of COVID-19 in India.
The recovery rate among coronavirus patients stands at 95.51%.
Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said over 16.11 crore samples have been tested up to December 19 of which 11,07,681 samples were tested yesterday.
