With 24,337 fresh cases of the coronavirus and 333 deaths in the past 24 hours, India’s COVID-19 tally stands at 1,00,55,560 while the death toll rose to 1,45,810, according to Health Ministry data.
Of the total cases, 96,06,111 have been cured/discharged. There are 3,03,639 active cases of COVID-19 in India.
The recovery rate among coronavirus patients stands at 95.53%.
Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said over 16.20 crore samples have been tested up to December 20 of which 9,00,134 samples were tested yesterday.
