With 23,950 fresh cases of the coronavirus and 333 deaths in the past 24 hours, India’s COVID-19 tally stands at 1,00,99,066 while the death toll rose to 1,46,444, according to Health Ministry data.
Of the total cases, 96,63,382 have been cured/discharged. There are 2,89,240 active cases of COVID-19 in India.
The recovery rate among coronavirus patients stands at 95.69%.
Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said over 16.42 crore samples have been tested up to December 22 of which 10,98,164 samples were tested yesterday.
