With 18,855 fresh cases of the coronavirus and 163 deaths in the past 24 hours, India’s COVID-19 tally stands at 1,07,20,048 while the death toll rose to 1,54,010, according to Health Ministry data.
Of the total cases, 1,03,94,352 have been cured/discharged. There are 1,71,686 active cases of COVID-19 in India.
The recovery rate among coronavirus patients stands at 96.96%.
Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said over 19.50 crore samples have been tested up to January 28 of which 7,42,306 samples were tested yesterday.
