With 15,590 fresh cases of the coronavirus and 191 deaths in the past 24 hours, India’s COVID-19 tally stands at 10,527,683 while the death toll rose to 1,51,918, according to Health Ministry data.
Of the total cases, 1,01,62,738 have been cured/discharged. There are 2,13,027 active cases of COVID-19 in India.
The recovery rate among coronavirus patients stands at 96.52%.
Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said over 18.49 crore samples have been tested up to January 14 of which 7,30,096 samples were tested yesterday.
