With 14,849 fresh cases of the coronavirus and 155 deaths in the past 24 hours, India’s COVID-19 tally stands at 1,06,54,533 while the death toll rose to 1,53,339, according to Health Ministry data.
Of the total cases, 1,03,16,786 have been cured/discharged. There are 1,84,408 active cases of COVID-19 in India.
The recovery rate among coronavirus patients stands at 96.83%.
Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said over 19.17 crore samples have been tested up to January 23 of which 7,81,752 samples were tested yesterday.
