With 13,823 fresh cases of the coronavirus and 162 deaths in the past 24 hours, India’s COVID-19 tally stands at 1,05,95,660 while the death toll rose to 1,52,718, according to Health Ministry data.
Of the total cases, 1,02,45,741 have been cured/discharged. There are 1,97,201 active cases of COVID-19 in India.
The recovery rate among coronavirus patients stands at 96.70%.
Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said over 18.85 crore samples have been tested up to January 19 of which 7,64,120 samples were tested yesterday.
