With 13,788 fresh cases of the coronavirus and 145 deaths in the past 24 hours, India’s COVID-19 tally stands at 1,05,71,773 while the death toll rose to 1,52,419, according to Health Ministry data.
Of the total cases, 1,02,11,342 have been cured/discharged. There are 2,08,012 active cases of COVID-19 in India.
The recovery rate among coronavirus patients stands at 96.59%.
Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said over 18.70 crore samples have been tested up to January 17 of which 5,48,168 samples were tested yesterday.
