With 12,059 fresh cases of the coronavirus and 78 deaths in the past 24 hours, India’s COVID-19 tally stands at 1,08,26,363 while the death toll rose to 1,54,996, according to Health Ministry data.
Of the total cases, 1,05,22,601 have been cured/discharged. There are 1,48,766 active cases of COVID-19 in India.
The recovery rate among coronavirus patients stands at 97.19%.
Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said over 20.13 crore samples have been tested up to February 6 of which 6,95,789 samples were tested yesterday.
