With 11,427 fresh cases of the coronavirus and 118 deaths in the past 24 hours, India’s COVID-19 tally stands at 1,07,57,610 while the death toll rose to 1,54,392, according to Health Ministry data.
Of the total cases, 1,04,34,983 have been cured/discharged. There are 1,68,235 active cases of COVID-19 in India.
The recovery rate among coronavirus patients stands at 97.00%.
Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said over 19.70 crore samples have been tested up to January 31 of which 5,04,263 samples were tested yesterday.
