Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said that the Maharashtra government is leaving no stone unturned to encourage the housing and construction field in order to fulfill the dream of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to provide houses to all at affordable prices.
Fadnavis was addressing a meeting organized to discuss various issues related to housing, building and construction field on Saturday. The meeting conducted at Sahyadri state guest house was attended by Indian Railway, commerce and industries Minister Piyush Goyal, Union Minister of state for housing and Urban Development Hardeep Singh Puri, housing Minister Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil, minister of state for Urban Development Yogesh Sagar, office bearers and members of building construction development organization ‘Confederation of Real Estate Developers Association of India’ (CREDAI) and National Real Estate Development Council (NARDECO) were also present.
Fadnavis further said, ‘Prime Minister Narendra Modi had a dream of providing houses to all and for fulfilling this dream the housing and building construction field in Mumbai is been encouraged. Government is taking all out efforts for the cause. We will definitely find solutions to various problems that are faced by this field and for this, cooperation from the Union Ministers and Central government will play important role.’
The meeting also discussed about various housing construction projects and issues related to the slum rehabilitation field.
