Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij on Monday said that a vaccination campaign would be organized on November 22, and December 22 in district Rewari, for complete immunization of children, so that 90 percent of children are immunized in the district by December.
In order to make the vaccination campaign successful, all officials were instructed to take appropriate action. The campaign is divided into three phases; the first phase which was completed on October 22nd, in which the department has achieved 18 percent more than the fixed target, for the vaccination of children and pregnant women.
According to the Union Health and Family Welfare Department, there are 75 districts in the state where vaccination coverage is less than 50 percent. Whereas Rewari district of Haryana requires special vaccination campaign.
