Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Monday said that he has tested positive for coronavirus and has requested all his colleagues and others who came in contact with him in the last few days to get themselves tested.
“I was tested for Novel Corona Virus today. My test report has returned positive. I appeal to all colleagues and associates who came in my contact over the last week to get themselves tested. I request my close contacts to move into strict quarantine immediately,” Khattar tweeted.
This came on a day when Haryana Assembly Speaker Gian Chand Gupta and two other BJP MLAs tested positive for the virus.
Over the last few months, several politicians have been affected by the deadly virus. While numerous have recovered from the infection, many are still recovering.
