Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar calls on PM Narendra Modi

Newly elected Chief Minister from Haryana, Manohar Lal Khattar on Wednesday called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi.

“PM Modi is an inspiration for all of us. Under his guidance, Haryana is constantly on the path of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas and Sabka Vishwas’,” Khattar said.

The chief minister also met Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

Khattar was elected as Haryana chief minister for the second consecutive term.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Dushyant Chautala’s Jannayak Janata Party (JJP) joined hands to form government in Haryana.

The BJP which has won 40 seats in 90-member Assembly, fell six short of the halfway mark needed to form the next government. The Congress won 31 seats, Jannayak Janata Party (JJP) 10 and others registered 9.
