Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, who had collapsed while addressing a rally on Sunday, has tested positive for coronavirus.
On Sunday, Rupani was delivering an election speech in Vadodara for the upcoming civic polls when he suddenly fainted. He was given first aid on the stage after he collapsed and then flown to Ahmedabad for further check-up.
The doctors on Monday said that the chief minister’s condition is stable, but he will be kept under observation for 24 hours at the hospital.
