Global COVID-19 cases cross 3 million mark

The number of novel coronavirus cases crossed the 3 million mark globally while the number of people who died from the virus topped 200,000.

More than 55,000 people have lost their lives in the US due to COVID-19 and over 9,50,000 have been infected from virus.

Italy has the second-highest death toll with over 26,000, followed by Spain with more than 23,500 deaths.

France has recorded over 23,000 deaths and the United Kingdom has reported more than 21,000 fatalities.

The virus which was first originated in China’s Wuhan has spread to at least 185 countries.
