Bageshwar Dham chief Dhirendra Krishna Shastri has announced a nationwide youth initiative aimed at channeling the energy of India’s Gen-Z towards nation-building.
Bageshwar Dham chief Dhirendra Krishna Shastri has announced plans for a nationwide Yuva Jagran Abhiyan, with a particular focus on India’s Gen-Z and its potential role in nation-building.
According to a post shared on the official Bageshwar Dham Sarkar Facebook page, Shastri recently met President Droupadi Murmu and briefed her about the upcoming campaign. The post said the President extended her best wishes for the initiative.
The central message of the proposed campaign is that India’s young population can play a significant role in shaping the country’s future.
“India’s Gen-Z is India’s strength,” the post quoted Shastri as saying.
According to the post, the campaign will seek to channel this strength towards nation-building and will include a “Mind Set, Life Set” initiative.
Focus on India’s young generation
The proposed Yuva Jagran Abhiyan places India’s younger generation at the centre of the initiative.
According to the Bageshwar Dham post, the campaign aims to shape young people’s mindset and life approach and encourage them to contribute to the country’s development.
The emphasis on Gen-Z comes at a time when India’s young population is increasingly at the centre of conversations around education, employment, technology, entrepreneurship and social change.
Shastri’s message, as described in the post, is that this demographic strength needs to be converted into a force for nation-building.
