Five injured in grenade attack by terrorists in Srinagar

At least five people were injured in a grenade attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Srinagar on Saturday.

The grenade attack took place in Hari Singh High street area.

According to an official, the grenade exploded on a roadside in the market, injuring five people. The injured were taken to a hospital for further treatment.

Police have cordoned off the area and search operation is going on.

Kashmir Zone police in a tweet said, “#Terrorists lobbed a #grenade at #HSH #Street #Srinagar. 05 #civilians injured. All are stated to be #stable. Area under #cordon. #Search in the #area is in progress.”
