Farmers to get QR code-based J – Forms in Haryana

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini said that from next week, QR code based J -Forms will be sent to all the farmers in the state through WhatsApp , so that the farmers do not face any difficulty in availing loans and other facilities.

He informed today that from the next season, a Kisan App will also be launched, in which farmers will have access to J -Forms, payment status, land sowing and yield verification status, gate pass scheduling (starting with the next mustard crop) , land verification status, and all other information on the ” Kisan e-Kharid App .” This will prevent any delays in procurement.

Giving details of the wheat procurement conducted so far in the state, he said that during the 2026-27 Rabi season, there has been a bumper arrival of wheat in the state’s markets. This has broken the records of the last four years. The government has made strong arrangements for procurement , due to which wheat procurement is proceeding smoothly in the state and farmers are being paid on time.

The Chief Minister said that so far, 81.48 lakh metric tons of wheat worth Rs 21,44 crore has arrived in the state’s markets, the highest in the last four years. On April 11 alone, a record arrival of 7.71 lakh metric tons of wheat occurred in a single day .

He said that so far, 580,000 farmers have reached the mandis with their produce. The identity of every farmer is being ensured through digital gate passes. Along with this, biometric verification of 7914,000 metric tons of wheat has been done , which is about 97 percent. The farmers of the state are rapidly adopting technology and expressing confidence in the transparent system. The purchase of 7023,000 metric tons of wheat has been completed in the mandis of the state , and 3456,000 metric tons of wheat has been lifted from the mandis of the state .

The Chief Minister said that the procurement process has accelerated since April 18th. 3.5 lakh metric tons are being procured daily. Comparing this to last year, he said that while a total of 7.289 million metric tons of wheat were procured in the 2025-26 Rabi season , this year , 8.148 million metric tons have arrived so far .

He said that during the previous governments, there was no digital system , no transparency , and no timely payments. Farmers had to stand in long queues in the markets , paper tokens were made, and they had to wait for weeks, sometimes months, for payment. The crop procurement process has seen major improvements since 2014. Previously , only wheat and paddy were procured at MSP. Today, Haryana is the first state in the country where all crops are procured at MSP.

The Chief Minister said that 10 lakh 7 thousand 657 farmers are registered on the Meri Fasal-Mera Byora portal this year. For the convenience of farmers, the government has implemented a system of digital gate passes and exit passes through the e-procurement portal and mobile app. So far, 13 lakh 47 thousand digital gate passes have been issued this season.

To ensure crop procurement, the government has geo-fenced all 416 mandis and 281 procurement centers in the state. This has ensured that fraudulent purchases at undisclosed locations outside the mandis are not possible. CCTV cameras are also being used to monitor the procurement process. 932 CCTV cameras have been installed in the state’s mandis.

He said that the government, in recognition of the services of commission agents, has increased their commission from Rs 33.75 per quintal to Rs 55 per quintal. Furthermore, unseasonal rains and hailstorms this year have affected farmers’ crops. However, the government took immediate action and relaxed quality standards. Previously, loss of shine was unacceptable , but now it is acceptable up to 70 percent. The limit for broken and shrunken grains has been increased from 6 percent to 15 percent. This decision was implemented from the date of the procurement process , so that no farmer suffers any loss.

The Chief Minister said that over the past 11 years, the government has provided compensation to farmers for crop damage and an amount of Rs 16,160 crore under the Prime Minister’s Crop Insurance Scheme. Additionally, under the ” Prime Minister’s Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana,” an amount of Rs 7,562 crore has been deposited into the bank accounts of approximately 2.018 million farmers in 22 installments.
