The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is set to keep its winning streak alive in Maharashtra and Haryana, with several exit polls forecasting a massive victory for the party in the Assembly elections in the two states.
The BJP is headed for a landslide victory in Haryana and Maharashtra along with its ally, Shiv Sena.
Exit polls broadcast soon after the polling ended in both states.
An aggregate of many exit polls depicts that the BJP-Shiv Sena alliance may win 211 of the state’s 288 seats and the Congress-Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) combine might manage to win 64 seats. In Haryana, the BJP is looking to win 66 of 90 seats, whereas the Congress is likely to win just 14 seats.
