An earthquake of magnitude 5.0 on Richter scale struck Pithoragarh District in Uttarakhand on Sunday.
According to reports, the earthquake hit Pithoragarh in the afternoon at around 12.37 pm and the epicenter was 10 km below the surface.
No casualty or damage of property has been reported so far.
