Delhi Police on Monday arrested a cleric with live bullet, when he was entering Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s house for Janata Darbar.
“A man was arrested after a live bullet was seized from him during checking when he went to visit CM Kejriwal on Monday morning.,” Delhi police said.
The cleric was identified as 39-year-old Imran, he was detained after a live bullet was recovered from his wallet during checking.
“The cleric told police that he found the bullets in the donation of a mosque and had kept it in his wallet and later forgot about it,” Delhi police said.
Investigation into the matter is going on.
This came a week after Arvind Kejriwal was attacked with chilli powder outside his office in the secretariat.
