Two suspected terrorists hailing from Jammu and Kashmir were arrested from New Delhi, police said on Friday.
Delhi Police’s Special Cell arrested the suspects from the Red Fort area, New Delhi on Thursday night.
According to the sources, the duo, identified as Parwez Rashid and Jamshed Jahoor are allegedly associated with Islamic State in Jammu and Kashmir (ISJK).
They were going to Kashmir and were arrested from Jama Masjid bus stop near Red Fort.
Police had seized pistols, cartridges and mobile phones from them.
As per the reports, both the terrorists acquired the material from UP, which they planned to use for terrorist activities.
