Delhi: Odd-Even scheme begins from today

As the pollution level increased in Delhi, the odd-even scheme kicked in on Monday from 8am.

This is the third edition of the odd-even implementation by the Delhi government.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday urged people to support the odd-even vehicle rationing scheme for their health and their children’s health.

He also advised people to share car with each other.

The odd-even scheme will continue till November 15, barring Sundays.

Vehicles carrying school students will be excused from the rationing scheme. Women drivers too have been exempted from the plan.

On November 2, the Delhi government had announced that the timings of government offices will change during the Odd-Even scheme.

As per the official order, 21 government departments will function from 9:30 am to 6 pm, while the working hours of other 21 offices have been changed from 10.30 am to 7 pm.
