Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR) received heavy rain on Thursday morning, bringing relief from the humidity.
The region had been experiencing hot and humid weather from the past few weeks.
The rain started early morning and continued for few hours, waterlogging many areas of Delhi, Ghaziabad and Noida.
A road caved in Vasundhara area of Ghaziabad, affecting the nearby residential societies.
Early showers led to huge traffic jams. Office travelers were caught in the slow movement of traffic at the peak office hours in the Capital.
