Delhi Government hospital shut after doctor tests positive for COVID-19

A Delhi government-run hospital has been shut after a doctor tested positive for novel coronavirus. The doctor worked at the Delhi State Cancer Institute in Dilshad Garden area in the city.

The hospital building’s OPD, offices and laboratories have been shut for sanitization wok, said officials.

According to the sources, the doctor may have contracted coronavirus from relatives who had returned from UK.

Earlier, two Mohalla Clinic doctors in the National Capital were tested positive with coronavirus.

So far, Delhi has reported nearly 100 coronavirus cases.
