At least 40 people were rescued after a fire broke out in a building in Krishna Nagar of east Delhi in the wee hours of Thursday.
Fire tenders were rushed to the spot to douse the flames. According to the sources, the fire tenders received a call at around 2.10 am about the blaze.
40 people were rescued from the building and the fire was doused around 4 am, an official said.
