Delhi Environment Minister Gopal Rai on Thursday morning said that he has tested positive for coronavirus.
Gopal Rai said he had initial symptoms after which he got himself tested for the viral infection.
“The coronavirus report has come positive,” he said.
“After initial symptoms, a corona test was done and the report showed that I have tested positive. Those who came in contact with me in the last few days, please take care of themselves and to get tested,” Gopal Rai tweeted.
Rai is the third minister in the Arvind Kejriwal government to have tested positive.
Earlier, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and Health Minister Satyendar Jain had been infected with the virus.
