Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia on Monday tested positive for COVID-19.
Sharing the information on his twitter handle, Sisodia said, “After having a mild fever, I got my COVID test conducted today and the report came positive. I have kept myself in isolation. Right now there is no fever or any other problem, I am completely fine. Soon after getting all your blessings, I will return to work.”
Delhi on Monday recorded 3,229 fresh Covid-19 cases, taking the tally to over 2.21 lakh. With 26 fatalities in the last 24 hours, the death toll in Delhi climbed to 4,770.
Of the total cases, over 1.88 lakh have been recovered. There are 28,641 active cases of COVID-19 in Delhi. The recovery rate among coronavirus patients in Delhi stands at 84.91%.
