Delhi Assembly Elections: Most Exit polls predict return of Aam Aadmi Party in Delhi

As voting for Delhi Assembly polls concluded on Saturday at 6pm, most of the exit polls have predicted a return of Aam Addmi Party (AAP) in the National Capital.

The voter turnout in National Capital was recorded around 56 percent till 6 pm.

A total of 672 candidates were in the fray for 70 Assembly seats.

Delhi is witnessing a triangular contest between the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Congress.

The results of Delhi Assembly Election will be declared on February 11.

In 2015, AAP had swept the elections by a landslide margin of 67 seats, with the BJP winning only 3.

The AAP, under the leadership of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, is seeking to retain the power in Delhi, while the BJP is confident to stage a comeback after 20 years.
