Delete the Post in 10 Minutes or Face FIR: Akhilesh Yadav to Nishikant Dubey

Lucknow: Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Akhilesh Yadav has threatened legal action against BJP MP Nishikant Dubey, demanding that he delete a social media post alleging that Yadav had been in telephonic contact with Ramshankar alias Tinnu Yadav, one of the accused in the Ayodhya Ram Temple donation case.

In a post on X, Akhilesh Yadav termed the allegation “false” and gave Dubey 10 minutes to remove the post. He warned that if the post was not deleted, an FIR would be lodged immediately. The SP chief also asked other social media users sharing similar claims to delete their posts and issue a public apology or face legal action.

The controversy stems from claims circulating on social media that Akhilesh Yadav had spoken to Tinnu Yadav over the phone. BJP MP Nishikant Dubey had also shared posts referring to the alleged contact. Akhilesh Yadav has categorically denied the claim, calling it an attempt to spread misinformation and defame him and his party.

The exchange comes amid the ongoing political controversy surrounding the alleged irregularities in donations at the Ayodhya Ram Temple. While allegations regarding the purported phone conversations have surfaced in some reports citing investigative claims, Akhilesh Yadav has rejected them outright and said those spreading what he described as false information would face legal consequences.
