The death toll from the coronavirus outbreak in China has risen to 490 on Wednesday, as 65 more died in the Hubei province, authorities said.
The confirmed figure of coronavirus affected in China jumped to 24,000.
The deadly virus was first detected in China’s Wuhan in late December and has spread to most parts of the world.
On Tuesday, Air India announced that it is suspending its Delhi-Hong Kong flight from February 8 after the authorities there reported the death of a patient being treated for the virus.
