The number of coronavirus cases in India rose to 147 on Wednesday, according to the Health Ministry website.
India has reported fresh cases from various parts of the country.
Maharashtra has so far reported 41 positive cases, while Kerala has recorded 27 cases.
Delhi has 10 positive cases and Uttar Pradesh has recorded 16 cases.
Cabinet Secretary took a review meeting of concerned officials from various Ministries/Departments on Tuesday. During the meeting, he emphasized on the implementation of Social Distancing measures as detailed by guidelines of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. He stated that social distancing would have a major impact in limiting the spread of the disease. He also reviewed preparedness of various states for quarantine facilities, hospital management and awareness campaigns.
